Cold Steel 35ATCJ
The San Mai III Kukri Blade is the best survival/rescue blade I've bought. The only drawback is its size, which is well hidden beneath the kydex sheath (included). Also, I prefer the black satin finish; however, cold steel has discontinued that model. The knife is a bit pricy but you get what you pay for in this blade. The grip feels like rubber and clings to the hand for a sure grip. The angle of the blade is designed to slice, chop, and smash. You can easily rescue a trapped motorist from their vehicle; chop firewood for the campsite; or attached a pouch to the kydex sheath for emergency resources (lifesaver blanket, firestarter, paracord, safety mirror, compass, etc). I inspected ... The blade is almost an inch wider near the tip than at the handle, shifting
